Some people also opt to have the engagement portraits taken, and usually the two expenses involved with this are the sitting fee and that of the portrait itself.

Fees range widely depending on professionalism, but in a rural area, you are looking at around $600 and in New England fees may be upwards of a few thousand dollars. Keep in mind that you will almost always get what you pay for, but try not to go overboard. A professional photographer for under $1500 will usually do you just fine.
